My children do not speak any Swiss languages - is this a problem?
Home > FAQ > Schooling > Children and Swiss languages

You should not be worried if your children do not speak a Swiss language (French, German, Swiss German, Italian or Rumantsch).

Switzerland has great private schools where thousands of students study in English, children of diplomats and expatriates working in the many international companies headquartered in Switzerland. The curriculum usually include a program to learn the language spoken in the canton where the school is.
